I didn't exactly gallop across the finishing line, it was more like limping across, but I dunnit and I can't tell you how good it feels! I was 54 years old when I started this tx last year and I now feel 104 years old. I have tried many times to put into words just what this tx feels like but I think you have to go through it to really understand it, so I'm not going to try any more. My "tx buddy" from West Yorkshire finished a couple of days ago and this is how she put it "I cannot believe it's finally over 48 weeks at full dose, none missed, no rescue drugs and no dose reductions, but hell!. Gall bladder tattered, bowels screaming, stomach knotted, head shredded, skin knackered, hair (what hair?), eyesight buggered, joints aged 90 years - other than that a piece of cake" . You can see why we need to detox and try and get our bodies into some sort of shape again, lol!
I have had so much support from friends and family, I can't thank them enough. I even made some new friends through the forums and I am grateful for all their understanding and support, especially to Ina. She continued to support me even though she had to abandon her own treatment. Thanks Ina. I must mention Estee who has lived with me ( mostly uncomplainingly) for the last 48 weeks. He's bullied me into eating when I had no appetite, refused to let me drive the car in case I was overcome with riba-rage, or fell asleep at the wheel, took over the running of the office so I was under no pressure, rubbed cream into my sore, itchy body and always managed to make me smile, If there was such a thing as a "Carer's Cup" he ought to have it. I'm not going to mention any more names, but thanks to each and every one of you for you support, you all know who you are xxx

Congrats, Lynzee, and I hope you have an easy detox. Glad you had such support from family and friends during tx, a bit longer and they will all have the 'old new' Lynz back. Hope you're not going to be a stranger in the forum though.
